Office Staff Attends ADA Annual Session

Good food in Orlando. It was also a good chance to get to know each other outside the office.

Universal Studios Orlando hosted 11,000 ADA attendees at an exclusive night of fun. 7,000 of us also heard Bill Cosby live.

Back home again. Ready for another adventure.

Our office had a marvelous time at the 2004 ADA Annual Session. Each member of the staff attended courses on all four days. Since returning to Sylvania, we have devoted over six hours of staff meeting time to discussing what we learned and what we would do to make our office better for our patients. The staff would like to do it again....maybe Honolulu in 2008?

The convention center was massive and the exhibit hall cavernous. Displays of dental devices, equipment, products and techniques took up an area larger than 3 football fields—29 aisles over 100 yards in length. The continuing education was the finest I’ve ever experienced; topics of all sorts were presented by the world’s foremost authorities. But the greatest benefit has been to see the excitement and enthusiasm of this staff as they listened, learned, and shared their experiences with each other. We have spent over six hours of staff meeting time discussing what we would like to incorporate into our office from this meeting. We continue to be excited about providing the latest, highest quality dentistry in a most friendly, caring office. It was difficult to commit the amount of resources required to attend this meeting, but the response of this staff has been outstanding. I have been blessed.
